Rental Process
Re.Works Africa offers a structured and efficient rental process designed to ensure timely access to equipment while maintaining strong governance and risk controls.
Application Submission: The client completes, signs, and submits the rental application together with all required supporting documentation to Re.Works Africa.
Credit Assessment & Review: The Re.Works Africa Credit Team conducts a due diligence and credit assessment process to determine eligibility. This review typically takes 1–2 business days once all required documentation has been received.
Approval & Agreement Execution: Upon approval, the client signs the rental agreement and makes the initial rental payment. Approvals are generally issued within 1–2 business days following credit review.
Equipment Release: Once the signed agreement and first rental payment are received, Re.Works Africa releases the equipment to the nominated delivery location.
Device Tracking & Data Protection: Re.Works Africa provides robust tracking and data protection capabilities to safeguard client devices and sensitive information throughout the rental period.
Remote Data Wipe: Secure deletion of all data from lost or stolen devices to prevent unauthorized access.
Remote Device Lock: Immediate locking of devices, forced logouts, reboots, or firmware-level security controls in the event of suspected misuse.
Geo-Location Services: Accurate location tracking with mapped views and historical movement data.
Asset Tracking: Continuous monitoring of laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other digital assets.
Insurance Coverage: All equipment listed in the Rental Schedule is insured under Re.Works Africa’s umbrella insurance policy, providing comprehensive all-risk cover for electronic equipment against physical loss or damage.
